Post by Dearis »

Hi there,

here is a camelia (pretty sure thats what it is) although the 1st shot is not strictly macro and not a mind blowing shot it is a part of the series.

These were shot inside the Lake Wendouree Gardens Conservatory (Ballarat, Victoria, Australia).

Comments welcome, good and bad.

Regards Darren

Good series and "Closeup" works :D . You captured some nice details on those whites.

A good series of photographs Darren. :D The last one seems a little hot but that could be my monitor. My other monitor went "Tango Uniform," (don't ask, an old naval aviation term! ) so I had to drag out a much smaller and older Compaq model.

Good series, and I like the second and third shots especially. First one seems a little underexposed. Some positive exposure compensation to make up for all that white near the center might have been a good idea.

I still struggle with whites and blacks and exposing them correctly. Still need to work on that.
