I just watched a video on YouTube showing amoebae and other creatures of the not so deep(I never realised amoeba moved so fast!) and I saw a Diatom go whizzing past! I remember seeing these myself some years ago and wondering how they move about so quick. They dont have cillia so do they use some kind of jet propulsion right?
