Peony and Ants

Post by salden »

Ants love this plant and the plant is just now developing buds. The ants are all over it, but they are of the tiny variety. I was out taking images for my class, so this was taken with my 28-135 lens.
Image

Canon 1Ds
Canon 28-135L IS USM
1/60 at F5.6
ISO 100
This is approximately 75% of the original image.

Nice symmetry, the ants are a bit out of focus though and there seems to be a bluish cast, not sure :-k but, well there is to me anyway. DoF seems to be lacking too, what's up Sue? :smt017  :D

yea, you could have blurred the Background more to make it less distracting. Not up to your usual standards (like I know what I am talking about) IMO. (I wonder if I can get away with it like Ken does  )
