The Grand Canyon in close up!

Well thats what came to mind when I went up close to this felled tree.
One in B/W,two in colour but which is best?

I can see how they look like the grand canyon. #1 is better right now because the striata is horizontal and the other two are vertical. Rotate them and I would like #2 better :wink:
