I have often thought of purchasing one of those lenses but keep putting it off. Maybe one day I will. :-k Nice close in on the spider but for some reason it suggests more than 3X in magnification. Most macro lenses these days rival my stereomicroscope and some just plain put it to shame. Anyway a very nice photo :D

A very close shot. The crop has very good detail. I never get tired of looking at spider eyes.
