Inner side of the bark from the old apricot tree. Stack and stitch of 12566 frames. About 160 substacks and 36 final stacks stitched in APG. Real sice of area is about 4x9 mm.

Wow. I thought 400-500 images was a lot. I commend your efforts. :D

rjlittlefield: cut it to one milion pieces please. :)
At first it was just a challenge to try it for me. Couple of data i got from that. For example, 40% of overlaping is good. ACR handle maximum of 536.9 Mpx (oops). But (only) maybe i will print it out to 17" roll paper as natural decoration. :-)

grgh: Few bugs ran over the frames at shooting. I was thinking to preserve some of them that was well catched. But there was no bug in some nice DOF to use it that way. On the other hand, some "balls" on bark are maybe bugs (will be bugs in future) but that i have not confirmed from anyone yet.
