Tried out a gigantic diffuser I had built a while back. Scared away a lot of critters, but the light on the ones that braved it turned out pretty good Very Happy

1.

Male mosquito

2.

Creobroter mantis nymph

3.

Getting a free lift!

4. Added the Raynox DCR-250 for this

Hyllus jumping spider, close-up

5.

Grass mantis on a flowering grass stem

All shot on the Olympus OMD EM10 m2, 60mm macro, Godox TT 350O with a DIY diffuser

Cheers!

Like your last set, this set is beautiful artistically and technically, and at the same time biologically interesting.

Very interesting pictures. Big diffusers are the way to go.

Thank you Lou and Mark for the kind words Smile

Mark - agree, but caused the insects to be jittery. This one's going back onto the attic Very Happy

Lovely set and lovely soft light. Was this a large cone diffuser or flat?
