Yes this are all cuts done with a microtome, not by me.....
I was lucky to get a box of them from a specialist, who has done a classification of wood by stained cuts in different directions, crosswise, tagential and longitudinal section.

It's my first post here so hello to everyone :)

Anne it's great job done here. What dyes did you use for staining especially for the last one slice? Also what mounting medium are you using? I am trying with Leica CV Ultra but I am stuggling with some air residue when it dries out.
