Quenching the macro thirst

Hadn't shot macro the whole month, managed a productive session with some interesting finds. Sharing this from a month-old archive

Mother nature sure went crazy on this grasshopper with colors!

3. Omega!

Carrhotus(?)

5. Got lucky with this find, they hadn't even darkened yet
Image
Freshly hatched Owlfly larvae

All shot on the Olympus OMD EM10 M2, 60mm macro and Godox TT 350O with DIY diffuser.

C&C sought :)

Cheers!

All very nice photos. Thank you for sharing! I especially like the grasshopper composition and colors! Where were the photos taken in India?

Wow! All beautiful! I like the last one with the scary looking hatchlings most.

Agree with all of the above, another great set!
I like the colour, composition and subtle lighting, the last image is really special. This can all be found near Bangalore?

Thanks much, avelux, Mike, zzffnn, Lou, Mark, Walter and Troels for the kind comments...much appreciated :)

avelux - most of the times at 200 given the limitations of the small sensor

zzffnn, Walter - Lucky to live in Bangalore, get access to some crazy biodiversity :)
