Nice images

Nice DIC images. The background looks different from images I see as it is not smooth - any reason for the texture?

Cheers

Thanks for looking all.

Walterd: don't know how to stack something moving and rotating:)

Robert: Beat's me. I just started using DIC in the last week or so. Compared to the backgrounds with phase contrast I get, this looks so clean, I didn't even pay attention to it. Now that you mention it, you are right though and I'll see if I can figure it out going forward. I have asked a few people how they get such clean backgrounds, and the answer has been photoshop.

I think it looks excellent including the background.
