Crystal grown from a mixture of aspirin and paracetamol under polarized and oblique lighting.

Beautiful. And so refreshing to see a microscopic image captured on film these days. Out of curiosity, what film format did you shoot on - 35mm, medium format?

Thanks for the nice comment dragonblade. The internal camera of the Zeiss Photomicroscope was designed for the 35 mm format which is what I used for this shot and the one I've attached in this post. The object here is a melt preparation of elemental sulfur mixed with testosterone propionate. The dark and red color comes from the sulfur as it starts to decompose at high temperature.
