Attempt to use infinity objectives on the Optiphot:

With Sigma LSA





With Surplusshed 125mm achromat. I liked initial results with this tube lens (no more testing done yet), not sure how it compares with Raynox 250. It is compact & cheap, fits well to the printed part.

How do you handle tube lenght with 125mm and trinoc?

Luckily, with head (removed original tube, pls. see the photo), distance between objective & TL is ~5cm and between TL & sensor is ~125cm. Did not try yet to play with smaller distance or set up to the infinity. And, honestly, there is not too much room to play - if I'll make different 3d adapter, I could gain max 3mm. Unless I remove head, in this case I can go closer.
