Jumping Spider

HMMMM. Do I have opinions or am I opinionated? (Of course I do/am.)
In my opinion, it is a great capture, high on my scale of "I wish I had shot that" to "MEH." Far from MEH, bit it could be processed a tad brighter.

I looks good to me, it got room for improvement but it's a great image :D
I that maybe a bit more light in the shadows would help, and then a backdrop with a color or just black.

A wonderful portrait, with an air of mystique and dangerous power.
I am afraid some of that that would disappear if you lightened the dark areas.
Now the red rings around the eyes, the glowing aura around he head and the distinct white hairs on the pedipalps jump out of he dark.

And thank you for not creating artificial dark pupils in the big eyes. It should not look human.

But of course it would be possible to create a very different picture with a more naturalistic description of this spider. Perhaps more true, and perhaps less impressive for me.

Great shot. I wouldn’t lighten anything.
