Very nicely done, and just about the right scale for this subject IMO. I tried one really close up and found they lose their fractal nature above 2x or so. Just turns into quite uninteresting round blobs when highly magnified. Sections under a microscope might be better, but I didn't take it that far...

Cool stuff.

Beatsy - Agreed. The first series was shot with the Elcinar 90mm Macro wonder lens with window light and an aluminum foil reflector.
When I took a flowerlet from the same piece and tried shooting it on a bellows with the Olympus 80mm Macro Bellows lens it was just mush.
