Hi Len,

I have tested about two dozen of these and I can save you some time and money. In almost every single case they have excessive CAs when used as a tube lens. Except for Raynox and Sigma of course.

If you would like to try for yourself I have a lot of slightly used units for sale, Canon, Minolta, Leica etc. They work well as add-on Close-up lenses.
