One-winged hoverfly

Post by Beatsy »

Not really, it has two wings, but lost one to an accident of composition. Angling to hide most of the wire it's mounted on caused the wing to be hidden too. It was at a funny angle compared to the foreground wing and looked really weird when I recomposed it - so I didn't re-stack and this remains the best shot.

Minolta DImage 5400 at 2x onto APS-C and cropped a little. FoV about 18mm wide.

Another very nice and outstanding image with your set of "scanner" extracted lens!!
