Scales Series

Post by cube-tube »

Hi guys,

A while ago, when I was first getting into microscopy, I thought that it would be interesting to make photo series of the same subject at drastically different scales.

I don't remember all of the specifics, but I do remember that they were shot with Nikon 10x/0.25, Mitutoyo 20x, and Nikon 50x/0.45 SLWD with a Tamron 180mm macro tube lens on a Canon 6D, staked in Helicon Focus.

Thank you! What a wonderful compliment! Often, it seems that high magnification images end up looking grotesque, but I am glad that you appreciate the beauty in these specimens.
