It was a bit of a challenge to capture this small fish as it entered the focus zone. They don't look like much when seen with the naked eye, but up close they prove to be very flashy dressers. :-)Image

Nice shot. I like the composition (negative space = good in my book) and you caught the hint of iridescence well. How long is the fish?

Thanks Beatsy! I was indeed aiming to make the subject stand out with all its colors against the dark background. I reckon the fish was between 1 1/2 and 2 cms in lenght.
