|
|
My wife is a keen rock hound - she found this small geode with quartz crystals inside on a roadside gravel pile outside Camberville in the Yarra Ranges in Victoria. I photographed a 10mm section with a stack of 100 images using ambient light and a reversed 36mm cine lens on about 43mm of extension.
My wife liked the detail around the imperfection in the central crystal so I photographed it with the same technique but with a reversed 13mm cine lens.

Hi John,
It was a Yvar 36mm f/2.8 cine lens.
Cheers Kanga _________________ Try, try again. Fall down nine times get up ten.
