Really amazing images ,but UMplanfl 100x has a working distance of 0.31mm.
How its possible to illuminate the specimen with a ping pong diffuser?

Thanks for your answers!
The ping pong ball had a really flat, grinded opening that sat tight on the slide. Using a Jansjö from one side and a fiber illuminator from the other made it possible to somewhat "model" the light, although from a very oblique angle. The tip of the UMPLANFL is pretty slim, so yes, it is possible to illuminate it from outside, but with severe restrictions.
Best regards,
Michael
