Campylodiscus (?) with "thorns" 3D

Post by sushidelic »

Found this fellow in a strew slide made by Anne with fossil diatoms from Terrebonne / Oregon. I've never seen this kind of "thorns" before, can anyone help to identify it further? My classification of Campylodiscus may be completely off.

Thanks a lot for your answers, and sorry for the late reply!
It should be a Campylodiscus Hibernicus.
Stack was made with an Olympus Uplanapo 100x 1.35, oiled condenser and the DICTHR, which seems to really profit from the U-TLO oil condenser lens.
~150 images were used.
Best regards,
Michael
