Yes, it is compact, cheap and performs very well (and better) comparing with other tube lenses _________________ Saul

Outstanding image!
What's the focal length of the Sigma Life Size attachment?
Is better to use it in normal or reverse orientation?
I have one at a drawer and I plan to get the adapters.... _________________ Pau |

Like the flowing vertical lines and the fine textures.
Excellent job.

Hi Pau,
I own a few of the life-size attachment sigma lenses, at least 5, and they measure:
147mm extension + 46.5 register distance or = 193mm FL.
I have used them in both forward and reverse.
Online I read on a astro-photo forum that Sigma uses UD glass in the diopters. That would explain the good CA correction.
The best thing about the Sigmas? I picked up a couple last month for $6 and $10 each.
Sometimes you can find a nice Sigma 90mm macro lens for way less than $100 with the life-size adapter included.

If I remember correctly - 196mm (cannot check again, my camera is dead, something happened to the aperture control unit, sent to Nikon SC ). I'm using in the normal orientation. Again , if I remember correctly - in reverse I had some softness at the edges. _________________ Saul

Thank you Robert and Saul!
In normal position it would be easier _________________ Pau
