Yes, it is compact, cheap and performs very well (and better) comparing with other tube lenses

Outstanding image!

What's the focal length of the Sigma Life Size attachment?
Is better to use it in normal or reverse orientation?
I have one at a drawer and I plan to get the adapters....

Like the flowing vertical lines and the fine textures.

Excellent job.

Hi Pau,

I own a few of the life-size attachment sigma lenses, at least 5, and they measure:

147mm extension + 46.5 register distance or = 193mm FL.

I have used them in both forward and reverse.

Online I read on a astro-photo forum that Sigma uses UD glass in the diopters. That would explain the good CA correction.

The best thing about the Sigmas? I picked up a couple last month for $6 and $10 each.

Sometimes you can find a nice Sigma 90mm macro lens for way less than $100 with the life-size adapter included.

If I remember correctly - 196mm (cannot check again, my camera is dead, something happened to the aperture control unit, sent to Nikon SC ). I'm using in the normal orientation. Again , if I remember correctly - in reverse I had some softness at the edges.
