Was experimenting with the super inexpensive 20 dollar Amscope 4x Plan Achromatic today. I'm happy with the results, image could of been a little brighter too but it was just an experiment.

Thanks for sharing; would be interesting to compare on one of your other setups (contrast/detail) at similar magnification.

Thanks, I wish I had a Nikon PlanApo 4x 0.20 to compare and I have been thinking about purchasing one.
