The leaves of Common sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) is covered with this umbrella shaped trichomes.

This is a case where stereo is usefull.

Yes, very. From the single view, I thought the edges were probably bent toward the viewer -- concave outward, away from the trichomes' hidden bases. But in the stereo it is clear that they're the other way around, concave toward their bases.

By the way, I like very much having the little plaque with your name in both the left and right views. It provides an extra sense of 3D and avoids some "flashing" that I see when a name is only in one view.
