Fascinating to watch and beautifully produced. I know many higher animals with large brains that couldn't build their own homes!

Thanks for the kind words, micro_pix. You make a good point about "higher animals." If you watch the one cell guys for a few years, you develop some respect for the variety of things they can accomplish.

Very nice!

I notice that Part 1 linked to YouTube where this one goes to Vimeo.

Have you switched hosting services, or are they on both?

Thanks, Rik! I haven't switched but I have started to use Vimeo a bit. I like the video quality and the fact that I can download the original file if I want. On the two Vaginicola videos, I put them on Vimeo first and sent a link to a couple of people asking them to sort of "proof read" for me, looking for factual errors or captions that might be confusing. Then, when I'm pretty confident that the video is OK, I'll stick in on YouTube. I don't normally take that much care, but I thought the Vaginicola videos warranted extra effort. Of course, I could just upload to YouTube as an unlisted video and send the link to a few people and I have done that a few times. Another thing that's nice about Vimeo is the absence of ads.

I run an ad-blocker (Adblock Plus), so mostly what bothers me at YouTube is that some postings (not yours) attract inane comments.

One thing I do like with YouTube is its ability to play at up to 2X faster than normal. I know that most of your stuff is already speeded up by quite a bit, but even so I prefer to push most of it even farther.

Thanks for the tip about Adblock Plus. I may give it a try.
