Pearl Crescent - Phyciodes cocyta

Post by beetleman »

Pearl Crescent - Phyciodes cocyta. During the summer of lawn work and house painting, these were quite numerous flying around the fields of ferns and grasses. One closed view and one open view.

Both images are very nice. :D
The butterfly is beautiful and leaves are so green and cool also. :smt023

Interesting posting for me Doug.

I only have sight in one eye, with no memory of what true stereoscopic vision is like and so to me pic1 looks about as "real" as the real thing. The colours are very intense and natural without looking in any way over saturated. The image has a very "substantial" feel to it - more like looking through a window than looking at a photo.
