Focus stacking .. need help

I am a newbie and has been trying to learn macro photography for several months now. I am trying the focus stacking and need your help.. I posted in the technical discussion forum, but I am not sure it was the proper forum...

we're all just volunteers, but many of us get to see all the posts, so it doesn't help to post in more than one forum section. Sometimes the simplest questions have the biggest answers, so it's not a simple undertaking to get the level right! Serching for previous good answers is usually key.
