First effort at taking a picture of a fish in an aquarium. Has it's own set of issues..

55mm micro lens on the D50. F8 @ 1/100.

Nice! Great skin textures, especially in the larger photo. Good DOF, no sign of reflections from the aquarium walls. Really well done.

This is a beautiful image. I know the challenges with images taken in an aquarium environment. You did an excellent job.

Well I don't know anything about shooting aquariums but you did do a great job on this. :D What kind of fish is that? :-k

Thanks for the comments. He is a "Spiny Plecostomus". We have had him for about 6 years...
