Ah, now these things bring back memories! I spent hours in a wet darkroom, back in the early '70's, late '60's maybe, working to get a "just so" color print of lilies like these. I think my mom still has the print hanging on her wall.

Somehow these look a lot better than mine do. :roll:

Thanks Doug :D These are Carolina Lillies and there is another called the Turk Lily, that looks just like them. The difference between the two is that the Turk grows much higher and has numerous blooms of lillies where as the Carolina is about 1-3' tall and has only two lillies per stem. Both the Turk and the Carolina droop downwards. I need to get some shots of the Turks if they are still in bloom the next time up. :D
