Flower Stuff

Post by bill henderson »

Been playing with New D200 and hope to have a bunch of new stuff for future posts. I converted all my Nikkor lens to AI so everything I have been using for the last 35 years will work with the D200. I enjoy the unusual . Image

Pretty colorful images there Bill. :D I especially like the first one of course. Looks as though someone has "sliced" into that flower but it is quite pretty for something having been or appears to have been "slashed." 8-[

Well, you certainly caught my attention with that first image! I don't recall seeing a whole flower sectioned this way before. It's both attractive and informative. There's a lotta promise in that technique. :D

What type of flower is that, anyway?

The first one looks delicious! :D
My Katydid would surely like that kind of salad! :smt023
Iris flower?
Now I'm expecting Charles to provide us some cross section tissue cells captured with his 65mm MP-E with mitochondria visible. 8)
The meaning of beauty is in sharing with others.

P.S.
Noticing of my "a" and "the" and other grammar
errors are welcome. :D

The first pic is a simple razor slice of a blue flag, closed bud. I think I'll do more of this method. I do new, or old dried up flowers, there is stll beauty in old driedup stuff
