This is nice, I like the lighting. :D The mantis has a head like an electric razor though :lol: I haven't seen any mantis this year yet. There seems not to be as many bugs around either, dunno why :-k

Yea, ken, he does have a razor head. He is also a baby and the second one I seen this year. I usually have more than that, as when they hatch, it is usually a "group" affair. Even my little "red butts" are few in number this year.

Remember as a kid, I once brought home a nest attached to a goldenrod stem. Put it in a glass jar, thank goodness, and before long it was full of little mantis. They were light brown in color. :)
