Chrysochroa rajah thailandica - 10x (images added)

Post by Chris67 »

Hello,

my name is Christian and i'm from Austria. My english is not the best but i
follow this forum a long time and now i have done my first picture with a microscopeobjektive.

Picture taken with:
Canon 5D III, Bresser PL 10/0.25, StackShot on Tripod - Step size 0.01mm, 66
pictures stacked with Zerene (PMax), Light is one flash from above diffused with a sheet of paper.

Not a real stable setup but i think it looks not realy bad.

Picture shows the red band on the elytra from Chrysochroa rajah thailandica.

Thanks for this great forum!

Greetings from Austria,
Christian

Hello Christian and welcome to the forum.
I'm not familiar with the quality of Bresser objectives but this looks very nice.
You used good lighting to show the 'pits'.

Thanks to all for viewing and the comments.

@canonian
I know the Bresser has not the quality of a Nikon or Mitutoyo but i'm
very happy with the results for a €80,- objektiv. :-)

Detail of thorax, 203 pictures, continuous light, diffused with papersheet,
exposure time 1/4 sec.
Image

Edge of elytra, 128 pictures, continuous light, diffused with papersheet and
paperdome above the specimen, exposure time 3 sec.
