Hello Olympusman,

Nice picture.
This water flea is Picripleuroxus denticulatus. Came from North America to Europe last century.

Is this done with your new 60x objective?
The resolution is very good.

The new 60x objective is unusable. It is marked for a 0.17 cover slip thickness, but it cannot even clear that thickness. I may try it with a 0.11 cover slip which is not practical for my techniques or test it on a blood smear.
What has changed is that I was going through some various eyepieces I had and found one marked Ph 2.5 bit when I tested it before it was not parfocal with my eyepieces. Out of curiosity I set up the micrometer slide and slowly raised the eyepiece up and got parfocality and very good image quality. So I used black electrical tape to lock it into position and have been very happy with it.
