Beautiful little jumper. Looks so ....clean. Too bad about the OOF left front leg.

I have never seen this particular jumper....bet it can jump far.

Very nice capture Ken...especially for a spiderphobic like you :wink: I do not see many interesting jumping spiders up here in the north...most are gray or black :cry:

Thanks Doug and Ken. :D Yeah that out of focus leg bothered me a bit too there Ken. I would imagine from the length of those front legs, this thing can snatch up prey pretty efficently.

As for the spiders up north Doug, a friend of mine, while I was in the Navy, told me that up there, there are some very large spiders they call "Wood Spiders." Some, he related, almost as big as a dinner plate! :shock: He also said his mom kept them around to keep vermin out of the house. I think the vermin and I would have a lot in common, in this instance. :wink:
