Friends -
I am new to this site. I have been taking pictures for about 50 years now - but it was only with the arrival of the digital age that I started to get more serious. I have also always been interested in nature - and this has now come together in this hobby. Although my first interest was birds, this has rapidly expanded into smaller creatures - particularly since there is such a diversity of spiders, insects, and flowers, always at the ready to photograph in my yard.
I found this web site as I started to see pictures others had taken, particularly as they moved into stacking techniques: something I wish I had been doing for longer. Hopefully as this winter evolves into spring, and my tiny "friends" return I will have more opportunities to develop new techniques.
In the meantime, I continue to go through some of my older pictures - please feel free to comment and criticize - both for what I post here (such as http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/v ... hp?t=22086) and for other pictures on my personal photo page (http://michaelross.zenfolio.com ).
I am looking forward to future input - best wishes,
Michael
