One more photo quiz.

This is my first microscope photo after 10 months of inactivity.It was a very difficult year for me (lost my job due to crisis in Greece) and somehow i also lost the appetite for my favourite hobby (microscope photography).Anyhow difficulties are here to make us stronger and wiser.Life is moving on.

Now for the photo is 12x magnification single shot.

Sorry to hear about your troubles... This photo is beautiful. It has a feeling of vast space for me. I'm not even sure which technique was used for this. I would guess its epi darkfield of a shallow groove in a metal but I'm not confident in that.

It must be some chrystalline matter because the repetitive structure and mainly the constant angles, but... what one?.

A very nice image ...and a very difficult quiz!. Please provide some clues.

Maybe a piece of metall (for exemple a knife) after beeing sharpend.
