My electronic flash died, so I dug into my stash of old Vivitar 283's and fired up another one. Needed something moving fast to test it out, and since I'm a sucker for the metachronal rhythm of cilia, these stentors worked out nicely.

Looks as though your new flash, generally speaking, is working quite well Charlie. Beautiful images as usual. :D I read somewhere that less than 1% of the people here in this country, will ever look through a microscope to witness such things as this. I don't how that figure was caluclated but I would not doubt it. :roll:

I think Charles could use the light from a firefly and still come out with excellent photos like these.
