It appears we have a common acquaintance. I find the four "feet" fascinating.. two near the head, two near the tail.

Hello Jacek,

Thank you for posting these wonderful images.
From the larva I only know that the foto's are beautyful.
The first and the second ephippium are from Daphnia spec (two eggs).
The third ephippium with the young waterflea in point of hatching is my favorit image. it might be from Simocephalus but I am not sure.
The four pictures of the waterflea are very beautyful too but I cannot ID her.

Hello Jacek,

Here is the relativity of my knowledge:
I don't now what this is. It is obviously the ephippium of a waterflea, but I do not know about a waterflea with that many resting eggs in its ephippium. May be the ephippium is infected by some parasite.
