Limnias & Vampyrella

Post by RogelioMoreno »

Here are some pictures of Limnias and one of Vampyrella that I found in a sample that I got at Miraflores lake. The Limnias was a little deep in the water so the quality suffers.

All with Nikon TE-300, Plan Apo 20x/0.75, DIC, flash and Canon T3i.

Again top quality pictures. Vampirella is perfect, and I would like to have the suffered quality of the others in my own images :D

Spectacular shots. And I agree with Pau...this is what you call "quality suffers"???
I would love to be cursed with this kind of deep water problem. Are you still using your double coverglass trick?

Thanks all you for your comments.

David, the Limnias was with the double coverglass and the Vampyrella with only one coverglass (my slide).

Rogelio,

You may feel it was a little "deep" for ultimate resolution, but the DIC you get with that scope has so much great contrast you can do that and still come away with impressive images!

I agree with Charles, the contrast and brightness of color is really unbelievable. Congratulations!
