These things are so neat Sue, I have been wanting to photograph one for a long time now. They used to scare me until I found out what they were here on this site. I used to think they were a big overgrown bee or wasp of somekind. A really neat shot Sue, thanks! :D

They are so hard to take photos of. The last time I saw one, I must have took about 20 shots of the little fellow and none came out good enough to keep. they are always moving..Very nice capture Sue

Indeed a great capture there sue. Hard to get, they sometimes are even jumpier than dragons when you approach them.
I like the caption here to, frozen but still dynamic because of the faded wings
What shutterspeed did you use?

I've wanted to photograph these for awhile, but have never pulled it off. The tail reminds me of shrimp! :-)
