It's much to large for D. tuberculata. Can you show it in lateral view? I'm very anxious to see this one.

Unfortunately I do not have another video of this amoeba.
It was perfectly spherical, smooth, of an intense brown color.

The real measurements are approximately 150um of diameter.
Not 300.
It is very difficult to film it in brightfield.
I hope that it should be useful to you to identify it.

Well, it still looks a new species to me, because it is large, spherical AND it has a lobed mouth. I only know the smaller, often spherical Difflugia gramen which is three or four lobed, but completely different from yours. Really amazing, but there are still many new species waiting to be discovered. It is alway thrilling to be the first to see such an amoeba!

It is found among other areas in Argentina and Uruguay.
All the samples were found resemble him.
