Great test. The diatom looks very good. Is this a newer model lomo scope?

Hello
Thanks for your comments
It is an old Lomo P11 microscope and phase contrast KF4
I've adapted an old AO illuminator

Nice customization. Its giving you excellent results. Do you have a head for this scope or do you strictly use camera/monitor?

Francisco,

Very nice results with that little (when you see the monster beside it) scope!

Hello
Thanks curt0909 and Rogelio
The microscope has a binocular head but it is difficult to be changing at the camera head so I have it always with the camera and use the monitor for viewing. So I'm looking for this microscope trinocular head.
Yes, Rogelio, compared to the next microscope (Nikon Apophot) is very very small :D

Francisco,
nice phase video and interesting Lomo adaptation (a big monster like illuminator  )
- Do you see any advantage compared with the Nikon?

Hi Pau
Thanks for your comment
The Nikon is by far better than the Lomo microscope.
Phase contrast Lomo with achromatic objectives is of good quality, less image quality than Nikon but with a very nice color effect.
It was my first microscope and, I believe, can be a good microscope to start
The illuminator (very large) buy it and as long bulb 100w has decided to use it in the Lomo. (to be completed LED illuminator)
