I have not taken a single micrograph this year. First i have to organise the images I made last year. A lot of work.

I had some trouble with uneven coloured lighting because of a damaged element in my microscope. Before I make new images I have to make sure my set up is workign better so i have as little post processing to do as possible. And start with a clean sensor. Here is a series of images of microbes that form a cluster. With algae you can use their phototaxis to concentrate them.

Sort of torture to see all this micro-bounty at this at this time of year when my normal collection locations are exceedingly dull...

Thanks! This was with the not so perfect set up so I needed to correct colours shifts in some of the images. Although darkfield goes pretty well.

No need to feel tortured, Charlie, because these images are from last years summer.

I will see if I can post some images of my set up. Be patient. Many other things to do.
