Barrel Cactus...

Took this photo of a barrel cactus (Ferocactus wislizenii ?) at the Westward Look hotel in Tucson. The views from this hotel are really nice, looking out over the Catalinas...

Nice image Steve. :D I thing the cactus is a golden barrel, Echinocactus grusonii.

Very beautiful Steve, spiny and beautiful....almost looks like some kind of an onion growing next to them...like a chive.

Looks like Echinocactus grusonii to me too, but if a golden spined Ferocactus certainly not wislizenii.
