Stentor and Closterium

Post by RogelioMoreno »

Here two pictures of a small stentor and two pictures of closterium (I could not get in focus the complete subject).

All with Nikon TE300, plan apo 20x/0.75 objective, DIC, flash and Canon T3i mounted on the front port of the TE300.

Rogelio,

Impressive images! (As have been all your posts with the new set-up).

A question... I also have a T3i, so I am familiar with its imaging characteristics. Do you mind if I ask what noise removal software (process?) are you using, and at what point in the "workflow". Your backgrounds are extremely smooth.

Charles,

I am using DeNoise just before saving the tif file processed.

Thank you for your comments.
