Desmids - Micrasterias

Two Micrasterias-species (cultured material). Each specimen was first imaged with DIC and then an epifluorescence image of the same specimen was recorded to visualize the chlorophyll-autofluorescence to show the chloroplasts. All images are stacks created with Helicon Focus.
