It is the best discussion of DOF that I have come across. I haven't waded through the whole thing yet, but it seems very interesting. It's a big read.

Thanks for the link. It is certainly very detailed -- 45 pages. May be some time before I even read the whole thing, let alone digest it!

The appearance that he hasn't had it peer reviewed, or even proof read, and the waffle in the parts where I looked in detail, make it stick in my throat!
