Spider face vs. LEE diffuser

Post by NikonUser »

Based on the recommendation of a PMG member I purchased a sheet of LEE 400 LEELux diffuser.
First test was cutting off a strip and making a short tube, connecting the sides with tape.
Found a dead dehydrated spider, soaked overnight in water.
Nikon D720, reversed Nikon 28mm on bellows, f/5.6; Zerene. Four remote flashes.
The eyes showed no reflections; however could be because the spider was long dead.

” I suppose you are an entomologist ? “
” Not quite so ambitious as that, sir. I should like to put my eyes on the individual entitled to that name.
No man can be truly called an entomologist,
sir; the subject is too vast for any single human intelligence to grasp.”
