Hi all,
I'm Don, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. I've been dabbling in macro photography for the last 2 years. I have an Olympus E-M1.II with Meike extension tubes, and a Raynox 150. I am planning to add the Olympus 60mm to the mix in the next few months, and probably the NiSi NM-180 rail, mostly to get my camera off my tripod when I shoot. I've used in-camera focus bracketing and Photoshop for stacking.
My typical subjects have been circuit boards and electronic components, coins, pins, and a few bugs I've found in the windowsills of my house. I'm ready to devote more time to macro, try out software stacking options beyond Photoshop, and put my camera on rails to see what that offers. I've already learned a lot by looking around here and am inspired to learn more.

Don - I reply mainly because I am also from AA. My perspective is entomological; I shoot specimens to document species and traits. Some of what I do: https://leptinotarsa.github.io/glossary ... DLC%202024. I am amenable to trading ideas or techniques.
